English Muffin Bread

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and greasing a loaf pan.

In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 package (2 1/4 teaspoons) of instant yeast.

Heat 1 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of water until warm (about 110°F or 45°C). Add this warm liquid to the dry ingredients along with 2 tablespoons of melted butter.

Mix everything together until a dough forms, then knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Shape the dough into a loaf and place it into the greased loaf pan. Cover it with a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-45 minutes or until doubled in size.

Bake the English muffin bread in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until it's golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
